Dancing Snow is just down the Nanakusa Line, the road that goes straight down from just above the Akakura Kanko Ski Area (on the Akakura side). It's only about a ten-minute walk from the junction, but in most cases we'll will bring you down in our van before the tour, and then off to the destination for the day. Depending on the course, at the end of the day we may ski all the way back in the afternoon for a post-tour talk and a cup of coffee—or perhaps something cooler...

For most of our guests, the day begins with a pickup by our van at your hotel between 8 to 8:30 am, depending on the course, the weather, and your plans. We'll bring you to our mini-center for registration, a quick orientation and gear check before departing for the day's adventure. At the end of the day, the van will also pick you up for return to your hotel—for some courses we will actually ski right back to the center.

Parking is available for at least four cars; a lot depends on the snowfall, of course! Let us know if you are driving, and we'll clear some space for you!
